I'm not sure if you are serious or being somewhat 'tongue and cheek' but I am going to err on the side of caution and assume you are deadly serious. First off, as a medical student I can tell you there are no quick, easy and painless ways to kill yourself! You say you have fucked your life up 'at the moment' - do you really want to end your life and throw away all the things you have to come because life is bad right now? You are young and have your whole life ahead of you - the way things are / how you feel now will not last for ever. If you are having serious thoughts of harming yourself please get some help. Talk to your friends and family and let them know how you feel and seek some professional help too. Take care. Ashok (If you find yourself feeling you are about to hurt yourself imminently then pick up the phone and call the emergency services, tell them where you are, stay there, let them come and stop you!)

There are no quick, easy, painless ways of killing yourself, it all takes time, planning and can be exceedingly painful. In 30 years of nursing, I've never seen a painless, easy, quick death.
At 18, you're still young enough to be in that teenage hormonal storm area, where everyone seems to be against you, no-one cares what happens to you so why should you?
Look at your future. Do you see a lifetime of work stretching into the distance? Would you prefer work that you dislike or even hate or something that you feel passionate about?
Now is your chance to do something about it.
In the current recession, finding paid work can be impossible, but there is always something needing to be done. Think about chariity work, helping your family and/or neighbours with cleaning, gardening, shopping, decorating etc. It doesn't sound much and I know it won't put money in your pocket, but it will get you active and doing something positive for others; it would also give you time to think about what you really want to do with your life.
Hope this helps, let me know if you think I can help further. Keep in touch, good luck.

You won't find that type of advice on this website, we are into helping the living and those that want to live work out their problems. Just for the record their is no easy, quick and painless way to kill yourself. As a member of a fire department rescue squad that is one fact I can assure you of.

As someone old enough to be your grandfather I can also help you with some patented grandfatherly advice. There is nothing you could possible have done or so screwed up that is worth killing yourself over. You use the words: "at the moment." This time will pass and you can move on. Whatever the problem is; can be resolved, repaired or a compromise solution acceptable to all can be found.

If you still feel like hurting yourself please do one of the following.

Pick up the phone and call 911; ask for help and help will be sent to you.

Call this hotline number: 1-800-273-TALK (8255).
This is the National Suicide prevention Hotline. The people there will talk with you as long as needed and then find help for you in your own neighborhood.

Go to your nearest hospital emergency room and ask for help.

Any of the three options I've given you will help you resolve whatever crisis you are in at the moment. Then they will help you find someone in your neighborhood to help you through this crisis and find a long term solution to the problem if needed.

I am also here if you wish to write to me and you may do so in a private message. I am not a professional but I will do my best to help you.
