Your not over weight or anything so don't sweat it! But if you want a leaner tummy do crunches or sit ups.Do not eat less just better. You could try adding more vegetables or fruit to your meals. Your only 13 so as you get older your body will become more developed and you will get more of a waist. Don't worry about it.

Some of the issues you are having is genes. Sports contribute whether your doing upperbody, leg strength, core or doing it all :D Find that sport that makes you feel fit and you are not fat. Like she said maybe to some crunches and planks. Work on your core. But do not be worried about your weight.

Girly i know what you mean! im a 13 year old dancer with a good skinny muscular body but i have friends who ask me how i get it. well, mine is natural! but i have friends with the same problem that you have! get into the habit of doing crunches before bed NOT full sit-ups but crunches.do it when you are in your pj's getting ready for bed or something. start by doing 10 the the next night 20 the next night 30 and so on until you get to 100/or 200 then stay at that number. do the 100 or 200 nightly and if you don't notice a difference don't sweat it!! that's just how your made!! everyone has flaws except the plastic doll barbie!LOL!!! good luck girly!! :)

Many people struggle with tummy fat. It's not at all that uncommon. There are ways to help reduce tummy fat, as well as give yourself a leaner look.

I would NOT suggest to quit eating or eating less, as sure this will help reduce tummy fat, but it will only make it appear a bit more worse. (I know from experience) It can leave you with unsightly stretch marks, and excess skin. I have found that doing leg lifts (You lay flat on your back, arms flat by your sides, lift your legs to a 90 degree angle, spread your legs, close your legs, lower your legs about 6 inches above the ground, and repeat) really helps prevent stretch marks, as well as properly tones your stomach to remove any tummy fat and resulting in a healthier slimmer look. Also to mention, making it a lot better should someone try to punch your tummy. Makes it hurt a lot less. This way, you are working on your abdomen, as well as your inner thighs (if you don't want/need to work on your inner thighs, then don't worry about doing the leg spreads). Eating healthy is very important as well!

With all exercise, if you're doing it properly, you'll be left feeling very sore, but this is good, because it means you are breaking down the muscles in your tummy, and it is rebuilding them, and also it's burning off that excess fat. So in the end it's a win win! But you also have to have perseverance. You can't just do it once expecting results, you have to keep at it. 30 minutes every other day would be enough, and it also takes a bit of time, but as you go on, you really start to notice a difference. Good luck, and remember to keep at it! ;]
