I just went through this! My period has always been regular, on time, the only time it was late was maybe a day or two. (It came at the 14th of every month) But this time it was 2 weeks late! I was freaking out when the 14th of November came and no period. I began stressing that I was pregnant, which wasn't good. Stressing over your period will only delay it. So try not to stress. I took 3 pregnancy test, and all came back negative. I was a little relieved. Than finally after I stopped stressing about being pregnant, my period finally came on the 27th. Normal period, heavy, 7 days, ect.

I'm 19. My birthday is the 20th of November, and my period usually comes on the 14th. (I know all this info you don't care for, but I'm trying to calm you down, lol)

I went to the doctor to get a blood test done, just to be in the safe. It came back negative. My doctor told me that usually when a female gets older, closer to being out of the teens (ranges from 18-24) their period will change on its own. He said it could also be from stresses of everyday life. Excess weight gain/loss, not eating right, exercising, ect.

I highly doubt your pregnant though.

If you notice spotting, don't freak out. I had some light spotting as well. It was just from where the period was trying to form, but it couldn't because of excess stress and such. Once you begin to think your pregnant, your body starts to believe it. Weird I know, but thats what my doctor told me.

Btw..if you do recieve your period, don't be alarmed if you get it twice in one month. Its just your body trying to cycle your period back to its normal range.

Like I said above. I usually got my period on the 14th. I was late, had it on the 27th-4th of December,

than on the 14th of Dec. I got my NORMAL period again, full 7 days. I freaked out, called my doctor, and he told me that it was normal. My body just trying to get back on my regular cycle.

Hope I helped! Just relax! Don't stress. If you want to relieve some stress, than how about taking a pregnancy test? Go and get first response; and take it first thing in the morning. I know the anxiousness of being pregnant will get to you and yo'll wanna take it sooner, but its false hope. Don't take it during the day because as the day progresses, your pee begins to be watered down, and that makes it hard for the test to read.

(:

Periods can be late due to be stressed or could even be your cycle that's changing. Try and relax! If this keeps up I would go to a doctor or take a pregnancy test jsut to know for sure. In the mean time try to relax and try not to think about it too much.
