Than get some hair spray, mouse, and gel and flip your head over, begin applying the three objects one at a time just like the girl did in the video below. (in the other post)
After that, figure out how you want your hair to set; make it set, and get a rubberband, hair tie, whatever- and pull your hair up in a messy bun, you don't want ANY hair hanging down. YOu can do it in a pony tail, or piggy tails. It doesn't matter. It may work better since you have thick hair to do it in piggy tails.
After its pulled up in a bun looking thing, apply hair spray to the bun. Than take a hair dryer, and apply heat for 5-8 minutes.
kayalark answered Saturday December 17 2011, 10:13 pm: I have VERY thick hair, and i scrunch it a lot! Well first thing first, If you want to make it go curlier/wavier than normal wash it under the faucet upside down, but if you dont care just wash it normally. Get some moose, hairspray, and spray gel for bet results. If you want ideas on what brands to get ask me to my inbox and i'll let you know what i do/use.
-first make sure you get as much water out of your hair as you can, so it isn't dripping.(you still want it fairly damp though)
-Next, squirt about a golfball size glob of moose into your hand and scrunch it through your hair using the "scrunching" motion. -then, spray the spray gel all around your hair and scrunch it again. When you are done, spray the hairspray in your hand and scrunch it a lot too. (or you could use gel at this point)
-THEN, spray the hair spray all over your hair.
Here is a video on how to scrunch your hair if you want more visual directions.
what she is doing at 3:55 is the scrunching motion. You can do it how i said or use this way. also look at other videos of youtubethat can help! whatever you like to do!! :) Hope this helped girl! [ kayalark's advice column | Ask kayalark A Question ]
