Building upper body strength is crucial, of course, to softball. To do this, start lifting small weights, focus on push ups, and things of that sort. You also should strengthen your endurance and core by doing scoops, holding your abs in a low push up position, and doing reps of various ab work outs.
Since winter is approaching, finding other ways to do Cardio will become a necessity. You could always run up and down staircases around the house or at a public location (in between bleachers also work great!). Getting a gym membership or having access to elliptical machines could also be very useful! I'd recommend running for twenty minutes then working your way up to an hour. If you want to become a faster sprinter, start by using an elliptical and sprinting for five minutes. Work at that goal until you can achieve it without feeling excessively tired and begin upping it by two minutes. Once again, building endurance is crucial!!
Good luck and hope you have a good upcoming season, :) ]
