I wake up at 12 or other times all the time. It's because I'm usually hot even when it's really cold. So if that's the reason maybe go to a doctor. My mom won't take me so I can tell you what to do. am looking it up now.
One says: Here's the deal. If you eat a lot of sugar/carbohydrate during the day, your's body's response when you're sleeping is going to be that much more acute. So...if you know you've had too many carbs during the day, your best bet is a protein shake or a can of albacore tuna. The protein helps to level out the insulin response. Also, I would try 200-400 mcg. of chromium before you go to sleep. The combination of the protein and the chromium should do the trick. I know exactly what you're going through and after 20 years of this, that combination is one of the best I've found. Also, it doesn't hurt if you wake up at like 5 or 6 a.m. to have 2or 3 oz. of juice watered down. It prevents both a drastic drop in blood sugar, but also doesn't elevate it and make you feel terrible when you get up in a few hours.

One says: Have you had a doctor perform blood work? I think that would be a good idea just to rule out any problems with your blood sugar or thyroid.
