Okay, so this sounds like your either going through typical things every teen goes throguh but wont admit to it, or you could be hypercondriac. Don't worry though your not alone.
It's best to maintain the balance of being in between. When you're really low, write down you're feelings and when you're really happy write them down then too. I'm no doctor, but this used to help me. Read one point off the sad sheet when you're happy and one point off the happy heet when you're sad.
Usualy these feelings go with your teens, but if not then consult your doctor, otherwise you could end up like this along time. Good luck :) [ kittenlover2000's advice column | Ask kittenlover2000 A Question ]

Everyone gets to that place in our lives where we question what the future holds for us. Unfortunately we have to wait to see what the future holds for us. The BEST thing to do is to keep your head up and be positive about thigns. It's hard I knwo I've been there! I try to think of something good and either one piece of news or someone being a jerk can turn my mood to the worst. Those times I don't even want to be around myself and I feel hopeless and worthless. It's best to talk and do somethings that you like to do. I'll admit I love listening to my iPod and dancing around my room like an idiot because it's what I love to do. I feel happy and I feel free. Find something you like to do or find something that makes you happy. Another thing I like to do is take walks because it clears my head and makes me relaxed. Try not to think negative and keep going with the positive! [ AdviceMistress's advice column | Ask AdviceMistress A Question ]
solidadvice4teens answered Monday October 24 2011, 7:41 pm: How long has this been going on in the same up and down pattern? I'm asking you this because constant mood swings from elation, normal happiness, and utter depression aren't normal.
It's a warning sign for bipolar disorder. The fact you think of ending your life is a big red flag as is any dark thoughts and thinking. If you should hear voices or have delusional thoughts you're in crisis.
What you should do is talk to any adult that you trust and tell them your moods are all over the place and be honest about suicidal thoughts. Ask them to get you professional help. There's no embarrassment in it and doesn't mean you're nuts.
What it means is that it's an illness and needs to be medically treated so your moods are regular and dark, suicidal thoughts are silenced. If really uncomfortable you should go to an ER and have them assess the severity of this and what to do. It's better to be wrong than to face a crisis later by just waiting for those thoughts to fade.
You should also write down the kind of thoughts you have been having and how long to give your family and psychiatrist something to work with. This needs to be assessed by them. It's not normal to have these kind of moods and sudden, dark thinking. I know because I had the same issue many years ago. Get it checked out to avoid a potential crisis.
You need to see that you're only 14-years-old. The world is wide open to you. No matter what you think or your situation right now nothing's permanent. There's no way you can tell what you'll achieve tomorrow or years in the future. What you do have is all your talents, abilities and an opportunity to make dreams come true. It will happen but requires work and faith. Stick in there. [ solidadvice4teens's advice column | Ask solidadvice4teens A Question ]
