Give her something that she will feel your age about.(one of the best things you can make her think this is 13 like. By the time she's 13 she will have forgive you)
My little sister is in my mom

I agree with the user below me, Don't use the word "emo" it's often misused.

Does she like Justin Beiber? I know he seems to be really popular with the kids nowadays. Maybe buy her a poster with him on it.

What does your sister like?.....You could just go to the toy department and pick something out.

How about a pack of silly bandz? Here is a picture of what I mean [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) They aren't that expensive and a lot of kids wear them.

I'll ignore the false use of the word 'emo', unless you were somehow describing that particular genre of music without me realizing?

Anyway, mentally shopping for a little girl I don't know is tough, but I'll give it a shot. Though I have no idea what new toys are out on the market for little kids right now.
I just recently had to buy gifts for a little girls first birthday. That was not a good time.

How is she with Barbies/Bratz/MyScenes? When I was her age, I couldn't get enough of them. I easily had over a hundred, but every year for Christmas I'd ask for fifty more.

Are Polly Pockets still around? I had a small obsession with those, too. They kept me entertained, so they might do the same to her.

You say she's energetic, how about a jump rope? Maybe even a hula hoop.

Anything from Crayola is awesome.

OR Play Doh. I went nuts for that.

What else is she interested in? Does she like Harry Potter? Horses? Fashion? Princesses?
She's your sister so you know her more than anybody here. Get her something that has to do with her interests. But something that a little kids can use/play with.
If you're not really close with your sister and you're unsure of her interests, ask a parents/whoever you live with and go from there.
