Since you are a college student and have responsibilities for your class work I would also suggest you advise the manager of your availability prior to the next schedule being posted. This will allow the manager to make a schedule that allows for you to be scheduled around your availability for that period and avoid the problems of finding a replacement for you. Should you have to take a test or need the time to finish a project. It also lets the manger know when you need time off for visits at home. At my work, it's the employees responsibility to check their own hours. I know it's the same with most places. [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]
