You are not back to your "normal self" in any way shape or form, not if you are contemplating suicide. You need to continue with counseling for the depression and to see a psychiatrist for medication. Suicide is not "normal" it is not the solution to a problem it is a result that leaves those who love you behind with major hurt over loosing you.

If you are feeling suicidal at this time you need to go to a hospital emergency room for help. You can do this by going there by yourself or calling 911 or the emergency phone number for where you live.

You can also call 1-800-273-TALK (8255), if you live in the USA or Canada. This is the National Suicide Hotline. Trained professional answer this number 24/7 365 and are there to talk with you and help you in total confidentiality. They will assist you in finding help within your community to get you through whatever is causing you to be this depressed.

Just remember there is nothing that cannot be resolved satisfactorily. All that is needed is to find the right kind of help. With help from this hotline the right kind of help can be found for whatever you find so overwhelming.

I`ve been there. First, if its really bad you should go to the hospital. It really allows you time to think and work on your problems if you`re not busy with school, work, friends, and family.
Often times the counselor we see the first time isn`t a good match for us. You need to keep shopping around until you find a good one who works for you, and then stick with him or her. Go at least once a week while you`re this depressed and suicidal.
Consider seeing a psychiatrist IF you want to try taking antidepressants (medicine). But be careful, they have a tendecy to give people too much, and that can make you tired, make it hard to concentrate or think, and can even make you feel worse. If you do start taking medicine, pay attention to anything that changes in your mood, energy, or thoughts and tell the doctor right away.
Always be the one in charge of your treatment, both with the counselor and the psychiatrist. Its your life and your body, so its your choice.
Don`t sit and stew in your emotions. Do anything you can think of to take your mind off of how bad you feel. The best thing is to try to get back in to doing things that you used to enjoy. When I stopped writing, I felt so much worse. And I thought that because I was depressed, that I didn`t like it anymore. You may not feel like its as much fun, but its still better than sitting and thinking negative thoughts.
Reflect. What is making you feel this way and how can you deal with it? If you don`t know, ask someone for advice or help. If nothing specific is making you depressed, then remember that it might be just a chemical imbalance. Most people grow out of it after their teen years and medication can fix it too.

Suicide is a choice, but its not a good one. People care, even if you don`t think so. People who you don`t even know might care. I care. There might be someone who looks up to you without you knowing it. They will be devistated.
And besides other people, think about you. If you kill yourself, you won`t feel bad. But you won`t ever get to feel good again either. You won`t get to make a difference in the world or to anyone in it. You`ll miss out, and so will the people who could have known you in the future.

You need to continue going to see your counselor. Just going once is not the answer to the problem and killing yourself isn't either. Think about all the people you would leave behind and how that might affect them. I know things seem tough but you need to go get help and speak to someone asap!
