Microsoft Word; Random black lines appearing in text in random places

Well, I write stories. More known as "Fanfictions" But to the point. There are random black lines that apear in the text. And they are anoying me quite a bit. To look at a screen shot of them click here : [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

If anyone can give me an answer ads to how to get rid of these. Please do!

It looks like a border that you get from typing 3 hyphens and then enter.

To get rid of them, click just above the line and then go to Format > Borders and Shading > None > Ok
