hey i am a girl and i am gonna b in the 8 grade in 3 weeks and i want to b a prep really bad nt becus i wanna popular or somebody else no i just have always wanted to be one bt never knew how so if u cn help thxs. no rude comments!

Hmm. Well try to be friends with some of the girls in your school who you consider popular. If you're friends with them, then you'll be considered popular.
You sound like me, really. I wanted to be popular when I was your age.
But seriously I prefer NOT being popular. Just saying. I know that's not what you want to hear, but it's just my opinion.
But yeah just try to be friends with some of the "popular" girls at your school. It'll help.

Well let me tell you I am or was one and it isn't all its cracked out to be! As much as I try not to be anymore its hard cuz thats all I get called is PREP PREP PREP anyway mostly all they wanna do is start drama and crap, but if you really wanna be one just dress really fashionable and girly! Flirt with boys a lot and shop like at a'gaci forever 21 wet seal American eagle stuff like that! and don;t talk slang you know like aint all that just like act suffistocated and then go and try to make friends with other preps. Also if you want go take gymnastics and try out for cheerleading that majorly helps. Well I hope I helped(: Good luck! and warning preps like to start drama and tell secrets and be mean a lot and have a lot of haters (if your stuck up) So ya!

preppy definatley a cheerleader and a energetic and happy girl and a really ''girly girl'' , be yourself to be honest.. but if you really want.. to be a prep where very girly colors like yellow , pink ,purple, blue, orange , red , definatly no black or brown.. also where fashion styles. when I think of prep I think of those stores like hollister , abrocombie and fitch , baby phat , tna , american eagle and etc , those are places most people go to if they are preppy , also always be smiley and wear make up and look good and be very girly they always say things like ''oh my gosh.... NO WAY! really?! aw how cute!''

when ihear preppy , i think of girls who have alot of fashion , stay happy , & you never catch them slipping. this requires you to do double shopping for school & very girly. with "very girly" being said, im hoping you have an idea. hope i helped.

In my school, no one really was a 'prep'. You could just dress 'preppy'. In middle school that meant wearing name brands like Hollister and Abercrombie. That means ripped jeans, polos, t-shirts, etc. Also wear pearl/diamond stud earrings with it, and flip flops or uggs in the winter.
In reality, to dress preppy means to dress like you are in prep school, so think rich. Sweater sets, pearls, collared shirts, polos, khakis, etc. Brands like Ralph Lauren and J.Crew.
To be honest, the way you dress will not make you popular. I started high school and I dressed in brands like Hollister and Abercrombie and I often got comments on my outfits because people liked them, but it didn't make me popular. I was shy and quiet, so it was hard to make friends. If you can give a friendly, nice attitude to people, you will easily be able to make friends. Don't worry so much about what you wear.
