Twitter question?!
Okay so I'm new to twitter think i'm getting the hang of it!
Whenever I mention someone however they don't respond.. I think I'm definitely doing something wrong?
I don't think it's working. There is this australian star who's not that big but I love anyway she has only a couple of thousand followers but she literally responds to everyone.,and re tweets for people whoa sk ive mentioned her a few times in tweets but nothing!?
It's the same for like normal people too.
I'm sure I'm not being ignored. lol So what am I doing wrong?
I would type something like
"hey @Jake saw your show last night it was amazing..."
no reply..no retweet no mention.
someone else could do the same "hey @jake you were great last night"
and next thing its retweeted and responded..
this is driving me insane.
Please help twitter addicts? :)

what i usually do is @jake , then his name or username will pop up under the box thing you are tweeting from. i Click on it (it being the username i am trying to mention) and then once you are done mentioning the name, put a space between the next word/letter and your mention. also, if you go to "home" then click "@mentions" it will show you if they replied. but you probably already knew that <3. well please feedback!! :)

The only thing i can guess is that maybe you are not mentioning their full name? For example, you would need to mention me as @bobby67 rather than just @bobby or whatever, it needs to be their full name. Apart from that, I really cant think of anything except that maybe they are ignoring you (as harsh as it sounds)? They probably dont retweet/reply to everything, it would be impossible! Do you have any friends/family on twitter? Try mentioning them and see if they get it?
