ok so i just got invited to my friends birthday party. its a pool party and then we are all going out to a formal dinner. anyway, this friend is popular. i however am not so popular. i am no ta loser either. its kind of hard to describe myself in terms of popularity cuz i can go from chillin with the "freakoids" to hangin with the popular girls. i will really hang out with whoever. i dont just stick with one group cuz i have many interests. some of which seem odd to alot of people causing me not to fit in as well as some. i want to be considered cool at this party. i dont want the girls to whisper things about me when my back is turned because they think i act wierd. i just want to know how to socialize and act around populars. what kind of makeup should i wear? what kind of clothes? should i act sweet or normal or mean? should i be loud or stay quiet? what kinds of things should i talk about? p.s. dont tell me 2 be myself and act how i usually do cux this is just for one nite. i need 2 make a good impression.

Just go be yourself , so what if its for one night? you really want to change who YOU are for one night? why would you want to be someone different? you shouldn't be trying to be different for some ''popular'' people.. I think its great you hang out with different people that is unique and continue that , just dont care what people think....
makeup: wear something delicate like a gold, peach, light pink, ligh blue, silver , light lip gloss, some blush , eyeliner NOT TOO MUCH! , masacara = ALL WATERPROOF! hence, pool party
Clothes: dont wear anything seductive, wear a nice outfit that matches nothing gover the top , like a skirt or shorts and a tshirt or a spagetti strap with a sweater.
ACT: BE YOURSELF! dont act sweet, mean, act NORMAL!
Loud/QUIET: like I said.. neither be NORMAL!
Talk about: talk about what you NORMALLY talk about and dont talk about gossip and dont make rude comments , talk about how good the pool party is , how nice they look , get a smile on their faces

But here are some suggestions.. Because it is a pool party you will probably be getting wet soo make don't wear eye liner,. it will smuge and look very bad.. if you want go natural with natural makeup tones like tan, mild golden for eye shadow,. use mascara That is WATERPROOF! That way you won't have the black lines and look goth.
If it is warm wear shorts swim suit or a nice sun dress. Do not act mean! Act normal with a bit of sweet but not too much sweet and not mean. You should be not loud but not quiet.
I will say this. I know highschool can be very difficult. A first impression is you being your self. Don't worry so much about what they think but just have fun. accept that some might not like you just because you are you.. and if they don't accept you for u.... So not worth it!
