I think it's important you tell SOMEONE.

I can understand why you would find it difficult to tell your grandma but you do need to talk about this with someone so you can get some support.

Is there a teacher at school you have a good relationship with? Or another adult in your life that you trust? These would be good people to go to. Alternatively, you could see your school councillor, who will be well equipped to deal with this kind of situation. They may also be able to help you tell your grandma if you chose to.

If you don't feel able to tell your grandma face to face then consider writing her a letter. It may be easier to get all your feelings out on paper.

I know it's scary telling someone what's going on but whatever you do, please don't feel you have to deal with this alone. You need someone to talk to and support you.

Sweetheart you need help. I recently stopped cutting myself and once you are older you are going to realize that it was the worst possible thing that you could have ever done. Get rid of all sharp object and try to occupy yourself more often to get it off your mind. I have scars on my wrist as well. I would definitely tell your grandma. Explain to her that you want help because you need to get it now before this continues to get worse. The cuts may not be "that bad" but they are still there and you still did it. I haven't done it in 2 months but if you are still thinking about it then you definitely need to tell her. Crying yourself to sleep is not a bad thing. It releases a horomone that cause you to become tired. Crying is better than cutting. Think about that! Try getting a counselor. It is good to vent your feelings rather than harming yourself because one of these times you may cut to deep and hit your vein which will cause you to bleed out. Stop hurting yourself. It's not worth it hunny. Find someone that makes you want to stop. God showed me that person! It happened to be a police officer at my house for cutting, but now I can email her and tell her everything and she helps me out a ton. She made me who I am and now I'm going to go to school to become a police officer. Think about your future sweetheart. You are better than that and you deserve the absolute best.

Good luck, be careful, and stop hurting yourself.

xoxo

yes tell them.

if you really want help, talk to somebody about it.

I don't know what issues you're dealing with in your life.. I remember being 16 and having a lot of problems too. I remember thinking that it was the end of the world when the guy I liked broke up with me. Being a teenager is hard. But thats no excuse for you to cut yourself and treat yourself this badly. Don't you want to feel good?? don't you want to be happy? don't you want to stop crying and stop being so unhappy? Well then pick yourself off your feet and start facing the world and better yourself. You won't better yourself by cutting yourself or not doing anything.. You better yourself by talking to someone you trust about your personal problems. Then you try to fix those problems and then learn from them and grow from it.

Like i said, i'm not sure what you're dealing with. But i'm almost always on advicenators so if you'd like to inbox me with any questions, i'll answer them and help you.
