It's kinda gross. Maybe towards the end of your period ... when it's almost over and it's a barely there flow -- but, from experience (gross I know) it's too wet.

I see no guys have answered this, so far, so I will give you a guy's perspective:
You know how your own smells such as arm pits, bad breath, etc. you have to have someone else confirm how bad it is because your nose is desensitized to your own smells? Well that goes for your vagina during period time as well.
Sometimes, on certain periods even the woman having the period wishes she could cut her nose off to get away from herself... and THAT is the nose that is less sensitive to that smell than anyone else's.
Now, I will be very blunt here:
During your period, your vagina can smell like a dead body rotting in the August heat.
Any man desperate enough to have sex with you at this time, is probably not someone who has a great deal of respect for you, or themselves.
There is an exception, of course, and that would be that there are guys who have a sexual fetish for blood and odor, believe it or not. Don't count on finding too many of them out there.
To give you an idea of how much fun this sounds like for the average guy: My ex's uncle was involved in an outlaw biker gang (wish I was kidding, but I am not) and his initiation into the "club" involved him getting his "red wings" which involves performing oral sex on a woman who is on her period.
So, basically the grossest least desirable thing they could think up, since they didn't have a murder they needed done to jump him in.
All guys are different, but this is one of those things on which you will find very few guys taking the other side.

It's not fun. I've only done it once and I will never do it again. It is rumored to make menstrual cramps go away, but it just made mine worse. I would just wait until after your period, it's worth it!

Wet and messy. Plus you don't feel that natural friction that makes sex so great. In short...he'd probably enjoy it waaaaaayy more that you would.
