So, I'm 15, 5"4 and 140lbs.
I'm not really fat, but I'm definitely a little chubby. I want to work out, but I don't want my boobs to get smaller. I'm a 34C. If I work out and lose weight, are they going to get smaller?
LM answered Saturday June 4 2011, 1:58 pm: It depends on the person. Some of my friends complained about losing weight there first. One friend lost 20lbs and it was all in her stomach. And this year I lost weight and GAINED a cup size. Most likely, anything you lose could most likely be regained through building up muscle, especially since you're not big at all to begin with.
lovealways1221 answered Saturday June 4 2011, 12:09 am: probably not. Boobs are made of 2 things- muscle and fat. It varies from person to person. Someone who is more athletic probably has boobs that are mainly muscle. If someone is chubbier and overweight, then it could mainly be fat. A way to tell is that if your boobs are "perky" like they don't sag down, then its mostly muscle. If they kinda sag down (don't worry, most boobs sag down because there obviously has to be at least some fat) but if they sag a lot, it could be fat. When you work out, it is really hard to lose fat in your boobs. The only way to really get rid of the fat is by surgery, which you obviously don't want. So basically its hard to lose fat there, but its easier to gain muscle there by doing chest and pectoral muscle exercises.
