I had this one crazy best friend from 2nd grade to 12th grade. She ended up having a lot of problems. She had a lot of mental problems, and did a lot of mean things to me. She hurt my feeling many times, and I put up with it, because most of the time she was fine. But, she was a huge back stabber and a liar. I tried really hard to fix it, but i just couldn't. i couldn't help someone who didn't want my help.
Anyway, I've gotten some new friends since, and I am very close with them. The problem is, is I am having problems trusting them. Actually, I'm having trouble trusting everyone. I'm just so scared that I'm going to get hurt or they will do something to me, like my last best friend did.
How can I get over this?
I constantly get angry, but don't say anything, because I think I am overreacting, but then I'm scared they are just going to walk all over me. :/

SwaqqAdviceGirl answered Friday June 3 2011, 2:13 pm: dont even worry , what you should do is talk to them about the issue that you had in the past days and hopefully they understand and know what youre going through but if their the type that you know wont be willing to understand then find you some new friends and check em out to see if they could understand your trust issues , now that should be a true friend you can trust if they understand where youre coming from . =)
