How can I flirt and seem cute?

its been a while since ive hung with guys. i mean i always use to hang out with them so much and use to flirt so much but my ex broke up with me last year and i didnt want to put in effort to talk to guys. so recently i met a cute guy and i dont want to be lame and flirt the wrong way. i already added him on facebook because i wanted to tag him in some pictures but my friend said i should chat with him but i am not that bold. i posted a comment on one of the pictures because i made fun of his combover but then i deleted it cause i didnt want him to think i was weird or a loser.
any good ideas of how i can flirt and seem cute?

I'm 17/ male. And personally, what always gets my attention is when a girl is confident. She doesnt have to flirt, because honestly, most guys are not into that kind of stuff. Especially flirting alot, because guys take that as kind of slutty.
I suggest just be confident. We as guys are lazy assholes, and we dont really like making the first move, especially since we are kind of obligated to. My last GF got my attention good by flirting non stop, asking for my number, facebook comments, touching me, scratching my back, whispering in my ear, that kind of stuff. But I beg you, dont make this flirty thing become a habit because you dont want guys to think wrongly of you.
