Boyfriend's Present :)

Question Posted Monday May 16 2011, 6:16 pm

My boyfriend's birthday is coming up and I have no idea what I want to get him. I did ask him if there was anything he'd like, but he said he didn't know. He loves video games, zombies, anime/manga, and old computer games. He's kind of shy and laid back. I'm only sixteen and he's fourteen, so nothing perverted either, haha. I have like two weeks, but I like to plan ahead of time, so is there anything a teenaged boy like that would like for his birthday present? I'd prefer a guy to give suggestions, but hey, if any girls out there know, feel free to answer!

Go to www.thinkgeek.com. That seems to have stuff he'll like, if not just get him something stupid that'll make him laugh.

The easy default would be an Amazon gift certificate. Then he can order just about anything he wants. That also eliminates the pressure on him to act like he is stoked about the gift you give him when he actually thinks it's lame. I mean, when my family members ask me what I want for Christmas or my birthday I tell them to just get the Amazon GC.

The problem in you getting him some of the other stuff is that you don't know fully what is in his collection and might accidentally get him something he already has.
