i'm a senior in high school and i have about 5 weeks left of high school.. if you don't know about senior slide, its basically when seniors slack off in school because by now they should already be committed to going to a college and there's no point in really getting good grades if you're already going to college.
Well i'm an average teenage girl and I work hard in school. My freshman and sophomore year I was on A honor roll. Junior year was B honor roll. This senior year I was on B honor roll up until now. I'm starting to slack off and I'm getting B's and C's in school but I usually got A's and B's. I know this is bad :( my parents got really mad at me for it and I know I need to get back on track and focus until school is officially over. But I can't help it! I can't wait to end high school! The weather is finally turning nice outside and it seems like school isn't my first priority anymore. I have a boyfriend and i'm involved with sports. Whenever I tell myself to focus on school and study, I always forget and just put off studying for later and think going outside to hang out is better. I know its bad for me but I just can't help it! I'd much rather go shopping over the weekend than work on a project. I guess I just need some motivation and a jump start.
Does anyone have any advice on how i can pull myself together for the next few weeks, stop procrastinating and stop senior slide?? please help!!

Very normal. As long as you will finish with enough credits to graduate high school do what you want. College will be a lot of hard work, so might as well party a little bit before entering university. Just don't be stupid about it. [ VoiceofReason's advice column | Ask VoiceofReason A Question ]

well i think tht u should think of it this way what ever you don know will reflect on what you do in college so if dnt change you habits not u will regret it in college.
ps. wy dnt you try this everytime you get something done reward urself with, so lets say you finish what was to b done tht week then you can go shopping on the weekend,
