To be honest, I think you should. Your boyfriend might be interested in serious foreplay. If you shave it would be a good idea, because there isn't many risks. Just be careful if using a manual. xx

I would trim, if I were you. If you eventually want to be shaved, go for it, but if you're doing this with the intention of going somewhere with your boyfriend, I wouldn't recommend doing something that most likely the first time will cause ingrown hairs, red bumps, and razor burn. The first time you do it, your body is not quite sure how to deal. Also, in terms of risks, people who shave are more likely to get yeast infections. Good luck, and be safe!

The only real risks of shaving fore the first time are razor burn and red bumps caused by irritation of the skin, but that's about it.

If this is your first time trying to shave down there, you'll need to get rid of some of the longer hair before you use the razor. Try to get some barber clippers or some good scissors to trim it down as far as you can. Get a brand new razor and some good shaving cream. Get in the shower and soap the area around your vagina and put on the shaving cream. Prop one leg up and shave one side carefully and then do the same with the other side. You don't need to shave everything above the vagina but that's entirely up to you. I hope this helps and good luck.
