Ok so about 3 weeks to a month ago, I was REALLY sick! My throat was in excruciating pain!!! My ears felt like they were gonna pop. So, I went to the doctor and he gave me antibiotics. I started to feel better. But, I was a little weak. Around Friday, I started to get a really bad pain in my ear. I thought maybe I had an ear infection. At night, the pain gets worst! I'm talking bad!!! Likw when I swollow, it hurts my ear. When I talk, it hurts my ear. Its not a small pain. Its excruciating and keeping me up at night. Its my right ear and on my right tonsil there's white dots. I'm going to the doctor today, but I just wanted to see if any of you can give me your opinion on this...
When the glands in your throat swell, it puts pressure on the inner workings of your ear. That causes the severe ear pain.
In the meantime, do what you can to keep hydrated, because I know that was a problem for me. I lived on nothing but popsicles and sorbet for a good few weeks. Stuff like that that isn't too sugary and is cold is nice, because it helps to numb the pain. [ NinjaNeer's advice column | Ask NinjaNeer A Question ]

While it may sound like something recognize not being a doctor and not having the ability to examine you if we were; we could be entirely wrong.

causing the ear pain, since theyre on the same side.
But i'm no doctor, so definitely go to a professional.
good luck :)
