First, what goes it is what you'll use. Reduce your intake of fried foods. You don't need to eliminate them from your body; people tend to break down and pig-out if they deny themselves something, and that causes people to give up. Consider fries a treat that you have maybe once a week, or bi-weekly. Things like wings tend to be high in fat, and should be avoided.
Walk for about an hour per day. Anything less runs you the risk of a sedentary lifestyle. If you can, go longer. Walking is something most people should be able to handle and will burn up a lot of energy (any kind of movement exercise will actually burn more energy if you're... uh... bulkier, because you have more to move).
Remember that your cardiovascular system is powered by muscles. Physical activity will make it stronger, and as a result it will automatically burn more calories. Kick it up, and your metabolism will increase the amount of fat your body is burning and you'll merely have to maintain the system. Maintain it, and you'll be doing less than when you started for the same benefit.
Finally, balance your weightloss. Don't expect to lose more than 2-4 pounds per month. Your body needs time to adjust, so setting realistic goals will encourage you. Remember, that works out to 24-48 pounds per year, and dropping as little as 10 will be better for you all around. If you find that you've stopped losing weight, you've simply plateaued and you should either keep working out, or you should slightly increase the intensity of your workout.
A great source of information which I love to reference is located here: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) . That will link you to a PDF copy of Brain Over Brawn, which is a brilliant book that emphasizes the importance of setting realistic goals.
