Xxx-lulu269-xxX answered Sunday April 10 2011, 4:00 pm: I think it's extremely important that you see a doctor if yon have blood in your poo - this will have nothing to do with your period. I'm not trying to scare you, but bloody stools are a symptom of various conditions that can all be serious; it could be bowel cancer, infections, an internal cut (which may then get infected) etc. Please go to the doctor, even if it's just to confirm you are fine :)
dshannon420 answered Monday April 4 2011, 9:41 am: This is a serious symptom of a lot of medical problems. The worst being a ruptured (perforated) bowel. The body separates waste from everything else because it can kill you quick, so if there is blood in the stool, it stands to reason that there is a possibility of stool in the blood.
