Additional info, added Monday January 17 2011, 8:44 am: I can't really go to a docotor right now... and I'll just leave it at that. but it started about a day or so ago and got worse. My boyfriend and I had two weeks ago, if that could have anything to do with it. When I got in a hot bath it helped a lot. I didn't fall, bumb, hit, etc. that area so yeah.. . DangerNerd answered Saturday March 26 2011, 3:15 am: A friend of mine's daughter had this happen. In her case it turned out to be a series of blood clots. I have no idea what is going on with you, but you really should have this checked out. In her case it got worse and worse for a while, then it started hurting less... that is when it almost killed her.

A pain as you describe, which is lacking in information when, from where, and how it started, makes it hard to say what type of doctor to even suggest. I would start with you family doctor. Pain that radiates is generally something to do with an injured or entrapped nerve.
