Creating A Website

Question Posted Thursday January 6 2011, 8:00 am

For our final project in our computer class, we are asked to create an interactive but also learning site using our knowledge on HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL. Our group was quite confused on what project to make because we have ideas, but we realize that these ideas for the project is difficult to do. I would like to ask for possible interactive website ideas that may be simple but worth it. Please do include a website wherein we could read more about making a simple website. Thanks...
P.S. I need an answer as soon as possible. The proposal deadline is fast approaching. Thank you.

One of the most important ways of positioning things in HTML is by structuring with a "table" structure. So read all about it and it's sub commands and internal commands.

Also You can try the following for Ideas:
I have this program: "Website X5 v8 Evolution"
It is excellent at creating a good looking website and you can learn how to use HTML tables to perfection.
Also you can use J Script, Microsoft version of Javascript within it.
I think Javascript doesn't work fully within it and I am unsure of Database usability within it.
You have at least in Windows XP professional a number of Extremely Nice Looking eye grabbers at the top Right Hand Side of the Screen.
Also a blog can be added.
Payment via Paypal too.
I suggest that the best use for this is to create a site that you like the look of and then have it professionally done to be similar where possible.
Also a Blog, and maybe more than one blog topic can be added.
Also you can use a reduced cost site, nearly free the first year with this if in the U.K.
Note: I only tried it on Windows XP professional. Brilliant Tear off page Advertising did not work on later windows versions with my copy.

There is a "Website X5 Compact 8 (PC CD)" and you can have a look at both of these on "www.amazon.co.uk" This is at £10.97 presently. 2011/08/13. 23:06 English Summer Time.
This is a compact version and If you are interested look it up on Amazon or elsewhere.

It is strongly suggested that any site(s) created in the above way(s) is only run on your own private Server: i.e. PC which holds the site.

Any technical terms in the above you don't understand then please ask publicly in this topic and I or another person will probably answer you.

Try www.wix.com
The website is fairly simple and gives good, basic instructions for use.

I had to use that site to create a portfolio for my computer class. It's pretty simple. Mine has personal information on it, such as my full name and the school I attend, so I'm not comfortable sharing the link. However, if you need any help using the website, feel free to email me at maniac_munchkin@yahoo.com :)
