Two minutes of not really sex-AM i PRENGNAT?

Question Posted Friday December 31 2010, 12:32 am

I know that prenut can make a girl pregnant, but my question is-

My boyfriend is 17, and he is still a virgin. Im 18, and I've had sex with two guys. Well tonight, things got a little hot and heavy, and he asked if he could just stick it in, just so he could see what it feels like. So I let him. He didn't have a condom on, but he moved it in and out three times, and than pulled out because he thought he was starting to build up cum. He really only had it in for two minutes top. It was very quick. Im a little nervous he might have pre-nutted in me; but my friends are saying I have nothing to worry about because it wasn't long enough? I know it doens't take long to get pregnant, and I know I can off of pre-nut; I always use a condom, but this time I didn't because he just wanted to stick it in for a second.

Do you think Im pregnant?

*He said before he stuck it back in, he felt the top of it to make sure no pre-nut was there, and he said he didn't feel anything, and he knows 100% he didn't cum in me.

Please give me your opinions on if I could possibly be pregnant, and what the chances of me being pregnant are. Thanks!

I'm not sure what's in pre-cum but I know it's purpose is to clear the passage for sperm to come out clean. Even though he may have thought he didn't cum, all it takes is a little bit and for him to go all the way in for semen to enter your body. Chances are though from what you've told me is your safe for now. Just be really careful in the future though

Just to correct the user below, the average failure rate for the pull-out method is actually about 27%:

[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

This percentage is for, again, the pull-out method. This means the penis is pulled out right before the man ejaculates--not when pre-ejaculatory fluid (precum; prenut) is expelled. Pre-ejaculate cannot be felt and the man has no idea when it may be released from the penis so he has no control of when to remove his penis from the vagina to prevent an unwanted pregnancy.

There are a lot of things that fail with the pull-out method other than the pre-ejaculatory factor, such as pulling the penis out even slightly "too late" or engaging in re-entry of the uncovered penis after intercourse is complete. Because of this, the percentage can definitely vary based on the particular act.

So, moving on from that since you didn't truly engage in the pull-out method and there was no ejaculation to occur; thus, the 27% relates nothing to this situation.

For starters, your boyfriend, no matter how wise he may be, wouldn't know if he released precum inside of you when he thrusted those few times. Think about this:

The vagina is wet and fairly snug around a penis.

As the penis enters and exists, it rubs the head and shaft against the vaginal walls.

So, technically, he could thrust in and release a little precum, and as he is pulling it out, it can rub off against your vaginal walls. With each thrust, it could rub more of it off of his penis tip and into your vagina.

So, unfortunately, your boyfriend has no idea if he released precum, even if he wants to believe he'd know. Precum doesn't just squirt out and that's that. It's slowly released so it isn't really felt, and since your vagina is moist he wouldn't be able to tell vagina-moisture from a light release of precum on his penis.

He may "know" 100% but there's no way in Hell he could ACTUALLY know.

So, yes, you can get pregnant from precum. While a full ejaculation can contain as many as 100 million sperm at a time, the sperm count within pre-ejaculate can be as many as a few million. It takes one to get your pregnant.

Trickier than that, sometimes precum contains more sperm than others. Sometimes there isn't even sperm released in the precum fluid. There is no good way to tell. It's suggested that if your partner had ejaculated earlier in the day then the chances of sperm being released into the pre-ejaculatory fluid is greater. It's also said that the man urinates between that ejaculation and the next time he pre-cums that there is a greatly reduced chance the precum contains many sperm.

There is no way to tell what the likelihood of you being pregnant is. We aren't really even able to estimate if your boyfriend released precum, how much he may have released in three thrusts, and how much, if any, sperm was contained in that possibly released fluid.

I can tell you that one thrust is enough to get pregnant by if precum is expelled that contains sperm. Just because sex lasts for a very short period of time doesn't mean there's no possibility of getting pregnant. Alternatively, there is a greatly reduced chance you could get pregnant from this one occurrence.

As for the : do you think I'm pregnant? part.

Nobody gets pregnant right away.

Fertilization can occur up to 7 days after the intercourse act. After fertilization occurs the egg multiplies for another 3 to 7 days before attaching to the uterine wall. From there it will take another 7 to 14 days before enough hCG is produced to show an accurate reading on a home pregnancy test. So, while you may not be pregnant now, tomorrow, or even 3 days later, it doesn't mean you won't become pregnant from this particular encounter. See what I'm saying?

It can literally take weeks to get "pregnant" from one sexual act.

So, are you pregnant right now? No.

Will you be pregnant in two weeks? It's possible, but the odds are much lower than if the sexual act had been completed by ejaculation.

there's about an 18% chance that you can get pregnant if the guy pulls out because there is a chance that he could have gotten pre-cum inside of you without knowing. hopefully you'll be fine but i wouldn't recommend having sex without a condom again.. even if it is for just a few minutes. good luck!

** my birth control pamphlet says that there is about an 18% chance of getting pregnant if he pulls out
