Christmas gift for girlfriend

Question Posted Tuesday December 21 2010, 5:18 pm

Hi! I'm not sure what to give my girlfriend for Christmas this year. I already got her boots and a ukulele for her birthday and anniversary, but I am stuck on what to give her for Christmas!!! I was thinking of giving her a Build-A-Bear because I think it would be cute (something for a change because I always get her practical things), but I asked my sister what she thought, and she said she wouldn't like really care for it if she got it for Christmas. So now, I'm really discouraged about getting it. What do you guys think? Thanks.

My girlfriend is 20 btw, she likes playing the guitar, and she's really into cooking. Maybe that will help.

Hello ! I am a girl and I don't currently have a boyfriend but if I did I know what I would want. If I were you I would give her a necklace with a key on it, the key to your heart. Like perferably a gold one with a heart key. It shows that you love her & that you think of her. Have a merry christmas & i'm sure she'll love whatever you give her :)

The build a bear is a cute idea, or a locket with the picture of the two of you in it, or a promise ring. you could even get the build a bear with a necklace around the stuffed animals neck.

What does your girlfriend like?

You can never go wrong on gift cards.

Movie Tickets, Restaurant, or to her favorite store.

Doesn't sound like much because it's just a card? ..Well remember it's the thought that counts. If you feel the need add something to the gift card... Jewelry, Bath set, Make up etc. If she is into that stuff.

Another wicked awesome store, Newbury comics they are a decent price and have cool things. Build A Bear..Well, Depends is she into stuffed animals? Maybe you could put the sound thing in the bear with you saying "I love you, Merry Christmas?" That's a sweet idea and maybe she would appreciate it more. Little things are what counts

How long have the two of you been together? Long relationships might be appropiate for a romantic gift, like jewelry. If you have a less serious, fun relationship the build-a-bear idea could be cute. You could mix the best of both worlds and put a necklace around the bears neck.

If she likes cooking, maybe you could sign the both of you up for a couples cooking class and get her a cute apron also. Be creative and think about what makes her happy.

Girls like to leave subtle hints so they get what they want but don't look pushy, so keep your eyes and ears open!

Good luck,

-Abby
