Question Posted Saturday December 18 2010, 5:18 pm
Sometimes when I have my tampon in I have a lot of trouble peeing. A tiny stream comes out that takes forever, and often half of it won't even come out until I take it out. I've asked friends about this, and they all say they've never heard of it, and I feel like a freak. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

If you try to urinate while a tampon is in place, You have an extremely high chance of getting infections, UTI, Yeast infections etc. Make sure you remove the tampon while going to the bathroom first, When you are done clean yourself and enter a fresh one. You can try wearing slimmer tampons, and make sure it's in as far as it can go. If it's too close to the opening, it can apply pressure to your urethra and make it hard to pee.
