today one friend saw that i habe a bandaid on my hand and asked me if i selfharm or something and i totally paniced,i made some lame excuse and i really hope she bought it,what the hell is so wrong with me,i felt so exposed when she saw it,like it was the end of something,and dont tell me that cutting is wrong,i know that,but it helps me and believe me i dont have anyone who i can tell,noone would understand

i used to cut but it didnt help so i stopped. your not exposed your just in shock but it will pass i promise. people cut bc they want a way out from their pain they are feeling on the inside and i know how that feels. but remember you can always change a situation if YOU truly want to. try and find a differnt outlet for your pain, whether thats exercising, like going on a hike or run or kick boxing to get out your anger (i like this haha :)) or just chilling at home with freinds/family/pet, DRINKING CHAMOMEAL TEA!! the bestt with a little sugar, or a warm bath anything to help. dont try smoking it will get you hooked like it did for me for a while all these are HEALTHY AND GOOD FOR YOU! if your not in therapy and feel like you need to talk to someone do it! im telling you they will understand and will help its a baby step but its the RIGHT step foward! I really want to get a tattoo. I was thinking about getting one on the back of my shoulder, so where my shoulder blade would be. I really want something meaningful but I can't think of the perfect idea.
I want something with a saying or word. I love sayings that mean something.. here are some examples of what I like
-thats life
-stay strong
-no regrets
-life goes on
something along those lines.. I'm also fine with some designs like hearts and butterflies or stars.. but I would like there to be a saying too. The saying can be in english or another language is fine too- latin, italian, french, (just not spanish please).
Oh and I don't want it to be too big. I'm thinking maybe 3 inches wide and tall? Anybody have pictures or ideas?
Oh and if you've gotten a tattoo before, did it hurt? I'm kind of worried about the pain. Did you regret it? Thanks! (link)

I LOVE YOU!! omg thats like all my quotes right there. ah well my sister got a tat on her wrist that said 'thats life' on her wrist in French as 'c'est la vie' in like script. And it doesnt really hurt much she said. But it looks nice. Its simple and meaningful. If you want you could add a design always. but that saying would fine by itslef. it was small on her wrist, she has small wrists and hands, but the print took up the width of her wrists, in black ink, (colored ink always hurts more, the most, white.) And she was actually thinking of getting 'no regrets' on her wrists instead in i forget what language, but i like it in italian as 'senza rimpianti' that would look cute on the wrist. This is veryyyy uncommon. the latest girls get their periods is maybe 14..? BUT thats also veryy uncommon. i myslef got it when i was 11. advice-go see your OBGYN immediatly! plus it might cause other problems that you are sexually active because you havent gotten your period yet, and you havent used a tampon yet, so wouldnt it hurt like hell to be having intercourse?!! but def go to your doc, and talk to your mom and sister, see when they got theres, and see what they have to say. hope i helped~

Hi! Im a 14 yr old girl and i play softball very often. when I play my pad usually moves all around and is so uncomfortable. how can i ask my mom to use tampons? i used one once in school because i forgot my purse which had my pads and the nurse gave me a tampon i like them much better then pads they are more comfortable.mom does not know i ever used a tampon. my mom is also very strict. she also had used pads all her life. i know a lot about tampons also. im afraid to ask to use tampons. im also not the type of person who likes to talk about my period like some others. can someone please help me on asking my mom to use tampons! hey i got my period when i was just 11 yrs old, as it follwed in my family. the next month i used one, though i didnt use it reguarly, because i wasn't very confident in using them. I had to use it that time because i was going to a waterpark. You should not be ashamed, embarrssed, etc. You are 14, a teenager, its time to start. And this dilema with your strict mother seems to be concerning you. My advice is, first go out with a friend buy 2 packages of tamps (i like non-cardboard, tampax pearl) there like $7 each maybe. Then discuss this subject with your mom and simply say "mom im 14, i like tampons more than pads, pads are very discomforting for me, and i know how to use one, and what the risks are, blahhhhhhhh, and i would appreciate if you would buy me tampons too." wait, see how she reacts. i think your personally overreacting, and any sane and logic mom would get that using tamps are perfectly normal especially for your age.My mom is kinda strict, and im 13, and my mom makes sure i take my tamps out. Although lot of times i forget. BUT add to the fact to your mom that you KNOW how to use one, and you LIKE them. she should respect that and buy tamps and pads from now on. (because you need BOTH) but just get a thinner pad. so after you tell your mom all this, if she takes it the wrong way, dont get angry, leave it alone, and talk about it another day. hide the tampons you bought in your room if she did overreact. Day by day keep bringing up valuable points and reasons. I agree, maybe one of my friends uses tampons? but then again i started my period young. So i perfer tampons.

What is the cause of stomach cramps/aches in a 11 year old girl? (link)

1.hunger pains, eat some and see if it helps.
2.go to the bathroom, you may need to let it out.
3.period, i got mine at this age; very common.
4.ate something your stomache isn't used to, flush it out with clear fluids,like water.
5. dont eat spicy, hot, sour, foods or liquids, do this for the next days see if it goes away.
6. depression, causes aches and pains in differnt places in the body, could def be the stomache.
7. gotten hurt in the stomache by sports of some sort, check into it, but it will prbly last a day or two.
---well thats about it for someone your age, MOST LIKELY its no. 1,2,3. Try everyone out, but by 7-1. try the 1,2,3 last. But see when your sister, mother, and grandmother, got there period. all mine got theres at 11. and so did. You will have cramps with this, you can take med for it. if for hunger, these aches are distinct from period cramps, because i have mine and know the difference. or maybe you just need to go potty? if you try touching your lower belly and it hurts, go to the bathroom. if you cant for some reason, eat and drink, healthy foods and water.

I'm a 13 year old girl and a lot of times this happens. I'll be thinking of something then someone else will say that or for example I'll be watching t.v. Then I'll think of a movie like twilight then it will be on in like 20 minutes or I'll be thinking of something someone usually says to me but hasn't in a while then they'll text me and be like "oh I haven't said that in a while." if you no what I mean, I kind of think of something and then it happens, if that makes sense. Slut, ok? everyone today gets tats and piersings, dont listen to this jerkoff who answered. my sister my mom and me all have tats, and they are a symbol of something meaningful to you so you can keep it forever, go out and get your piercing. So idk what piercing your talking about but research a piercing place (it may even be a piercing/tattoo place) then call the number and find out the age consent to get what you want pierced. most likely you need to be 14, and you can get anything pierced with your parent/guardian(s) But if thats the case just wait another year, i know its hard, but i remember seeing girls who went to claires or piercing pagoda because they were so desperate to get it theres turned out pretty gross, because their you can be 13 but they almost always screw it up becuese they are inexpierenced, so dont go there. if you go to a piercing/tattoo shop it will not get infected, hope i helped, and get your tatoos and piercings!

hey biatch its ok. im the same way...or at least i was. I was in the same position as you were. And no matter how old you were you shouldn't have to deal with it. Unfortunatlly for me i was younge, a tween and my brother younger. If your parents are still together i would think its maybe a domestic violence relationship, no disrespect, no offense but that's how those kind of husbands, men, kind of guys are. Very controlling and domestic, it's their way or the highway, and they can be, like mine manipulating. For this my whole image change, forcing me to the brink of death and going to a therapist, luckily i've got my happy back. You might feel that you don't want to expose him or tell him how you really feel because you think "oh noo, its my family, i cant do that" listen im a teen, take my advice, im very mature but very wise and fun and outgoing and risky. But listen dont think that. You will learn in life, that confidence and speaking your mind to ANYBODY can get you far or no where. So say what you want, when you want. And for me like you i thought he was a good man when my parents were getting divorced, but it took me nearly a year and a half to realize what he was doing and that he was toxic and manipulating,so i kicked him outta my lfe. LIsten girl figure your life, if your parents are divorced it's gonna be easier to kick him out, if they are together tell him EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL even if it's the worst possible word ever. tell 'em. dont let it get bottled trust me, and if its too much and your changing into a 360 in a negative way do yourself and go see someone

Now people probably see this kind of story all the time, but I am in a position where I constantly think I am overweight. I am 13, 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weigh 120 lb. But before continuing this let me get something straight. I am a very happy person with talent, friends, good grades, and I know I am pretty even if others tell me otherwise. So I am optomistic even despite the thoughts of being fat. I work out often, strive to eat right, etc. I am just wondering if anyone would be able to tell me if I am healthy. 10 is usually very young to get it, i got mine at 11 which is also early. if you are geting boobs, it's a possiblity, really period are nothing to get excited over, just a bunch of leg cramps, food cravings, BLOOD, and being a bitch, so it really sucks. wear training bras if your boobs are not really boobs there like triangles, if ya know what im talking about, because that's how evry girl starts out. and u dont want ur tits sticking out. ask your sister(s), mom and grandma when they got there, all of mine got theres at 11 and so did i. so nothing to be worried over you be a year off or the same age. really it's nothing special. i am still growing and i am thirteen and i will get like boobs pains alot, which means their still growing, yours are just starting. Dont stress over it, if you know when it might come get pads, but dont use them 'till you get the actuall blood. but for now get pany liners for this gross white stuff you will get like for forver when your not on your period and get some training bras. and heres a tip: the second day of your period is horrifying, just saying, so wear a pad please, and be patient. :)

nice dress! very cute. so your clutch is going to be like the same color as the blue strap on the dress. your shoes should be either black, silver, or white (solid colors no patterns) and your jewerly..heres the key dont over do it! balance it out. so you might even like what they have under the suggestion boxes to the left. you can wear earrings as the same color as the strap in the middle of the dress ( you want them to pop out, so dont pick white) Earrings are a must! or you can get gray/silver earrings IF your shoes are gray/silver. If your shoes are black your earrings should be the blue color. and wear some solid silver rings and your all done! no neclaces, they get messy sometimes, and you want people to see your beautiful neck and chest, that wont happen with a big necklace. if its a nice simple necklace, then sure. i know it may seem a lil complicated, let me break it down, it all has to be balanced and go with the shoes:
(option 1)- 2 silver rings on the same hand. a bracelet, silver would work best .the blueish clutch, and blueish dangly earrings. and silver shoes.
(option 2)- 2 silver/gray rings on the same hand. a simple necklace, and blueish studs. silver/gray shoes, and the blueish clutch
(option 3)- 2 silver rings on the same hand. blueish dangly earrings. black shoes (peeptow)and the blueish clutch.
Ps it might be hard to find acsseories of the same color of the strap in the middle of ur dress, unless it shows it in the suggestion box. its about balance. if it doesnt look good, take some things out or mix it up. u'll look fab! hope u learned some tips!

Sometimes when I have my tampon in I have a lot of trouble peeing. A tiny stream comes out that takes forever, and often half of it won't even come out until I take it out. I've asked friends about this, and they all say they've never heard of it, and I feel like a freak. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? (link)
