soccer training I'm going to go to highschool next year and i really want to make the highschool soccer team! I'm the fastest girl, on my current team. And I'm also one of the fastest girls in the league. I heard that in the highschool soccer tryouts, I will have to be able to run a mile in seven and a half minutes and then I will have to run another mile. But, I've always been bad at long distance running. I've started out with running a half mile around my neighborhood, but every time I run it(once or twice a week)it's extremely hard for me. I'm worried that I won't be able to run the 2 miles, once it's time for soccer tryouts.

OK, keep running, you will get yused to it. ONce or twice isnt enough,. I run four miles a day. Run 3-4 times a week not more than 5 id say for beginner but it will start to work and your body will get in shaope. Bump it up a quarter of a mile a month. If your at half a mile. Next month run 0.75. Work your way to it. Youll get there in NO time. ]
Keep up the running, and you will get better. It's good that you are starting this early. ]
You have plenty of time! This is coming from a girl who was in the same boat as you. You need to run more than that each week. As you keep running, it gets a lot easier. Keep working at it, and you will be fine. ]
