The same person happens to be in my dreams every night.
My parents got divorced when I was in second grade. I'm a sophomore in high school now, & their divorce has never really phased me. I didn't mind it. I live with my mom & I don't see my dad that often anymore.
For the past week or two, my dad has been in every single one of my dreams. They're weird dreams though. It's like I'm hallucinating. It's the most random things & they're really trippy. My questions is... what does it mean? It weirds me out. Does anybody know what could be causing it?

dreams can be a load of rubbish, like you've been thinking of random things during the day and they all merge together when you fall asleep, however, they can also be your subconsious trying to tell you something. In this case I think it's the latter. You miss your father. If this is the case, get in touch with him and see if you can meet up or even just give him a call.

well im the type of person who believes that dreams mean something and are a guide and the future to our lives.
for example the myth that if you teethe fall out in a dream it means someone is going to pass away.
but i think that he is recently appearing in your dreams alot is not because of your parents divorce, but because you want a relationship with him and in someway or another miss him.
seeing someone in your dream can be because of alot of reasons like seeing a picture of them that day, talking about them, or thinking about them before going to sleep.
