Something else cute that girls love, is when you surprise them and hug them from behind. As for the kiss, make sure that both of you are ready, wait for a good moment, and just go for it. Just go for a simple, nice kiss, not some huge, sloppy make out session.

This will show her that you have respect for her and her comfort levels with taking these first steps in your relationship. Good night kisses ( on the cheek, to start) are always a good first kiss also. People sometimes expect a g-nite kiss after a nice date or evening together. Make sure you do something nice for her (flowers, dinner etc.) to help make it a memorable moment. Still, I think it is perfectly acceptable for you to just simply ask permission and show her that you want to make sure she is comfortable taking these steps.
