I'm thirteen. my period started a year ago, and i still lose it for months at a time. i didn't have it once this summer.I am a virgin. Is something wrong with me?

Your period is irregular for the first 2 years of your period. They will start to get regular as time goes on. Mine still aren't regular and I have had mine for 5 years.

its normal i have irregular periods all the time and im glad you a virgin keep that.. Birth control pills can regulate your period if you are worried about it.. talk to your doctor.

Hey, that's completely normal, my friend gets hers like 3 times a year, she's 21 and not on any sort of birth control either which claims to make you only have three a year... It's just they way she is. It varies from person to person, especially if your as young as you are... it will not always be regular. No need to worry about it

No this is normal. When girls first start there period it is not as regular but when you get older it will gradually come every month. Lots of my friends didn't have a regular period for the first two years after they got it but not it comes every three to four weeks. If you still experience sketchy periods after two years I would talk t your mom or doctor about it and get a check up. For now though, its perfectly normal and you don't have to worry about it.
