abstract references to chemistry in movies

Question Posted Thursday October 14 2010, 11:21 am

My chem professor wants us to find a scene from a movie, tv show, novel, etc. that could be used to teach chemistry. He says it cannot be published or presented and must be unknown to him. Is there any abstract references anyone can think of that he might not have heard of? If not just give me any references, he says that if he's heard of it he'll just give us an extension.

There is a book called "Reaction! Chemistry in the Movies" that may help you. It talks about the movie and the Chemical theme.

Here is an article written on it.
