tummy fat.

Question Posted Monday September 27 2010, 7:51 pm

17/f
So, i am average weight. The thing is i have some tummy fat and i dont like it. I'm not trying to lose weight or anything because i know im still growing. I just want to know how to make my abs tighter so i can lose some of the fat just sitting there. I already walk, run, do crunches and sit ups. What other exercises can i do? How many crunches and sit ups should i do a day and how long is it going to take to get a tight stomach? thanks! (=

It sounds, to me, like you may already be doing plenty enough exercises during the day being that you walk, run, do crunches, and sit-ups.

Have you taken into consideration your eating habits?

Sometimes things make up bloat up more than usual. Sometimes we have a yeast growth within us that adds to the bloated look. Sometimes we're not eating enough fiber so things get a little backed up and puffy looking.

Make sure to stretch after you exercise to help pull tightened muscles into becoming long and lean. Tiny air pockets are present within muscle tissue right after working out. Stretching will help pull those air pockets away from the muscle so that the tissue doesn't get big and bulky, but, rather, long and nice.

And make sure you're not wearing too restrictive clothing. It sounds weird but wearing too tight of, say, jeans can cause fat deposits in places you don't want fat deposits ;)
