Please don't answer/read if you are going to be rude or preach to me because I don't care to what you have to say if you're just going to bitch. I'll do what I want thank you.
Okay so..
I recently started smoking pot over the summer. I like it so whatever. It's not like I'm an idiot though I get mostly A's and a few B's here and there so don't say it makes you dumb.. Well, this isn't the problem. I guess word got around school that I smoke weed, it's not that big of deal, but it happened after I smoked weed with a group of guys at my friends house. It's almost like they are giving me shit for it. It's like all they have to say is "Pot head" and I don't understand because hey! they smoke weed too. Why do they do this? I usually shrug it off but now it's just like STFU! They don't say it in a completely rude way but not really in a friendly way either. Why are the biggest stoners in the school calling me a pot head so much? Like anyone that I have ever smoked weed with call me a pot head. Da fuq. I don't get it. This includes my brother's friends and those guys (about six of them).
Honestly, I'm not that close to them like we talk but it's not like we are really good friends. I do wish we where close friends though because I find myself to have a lot more in common with them than with my current friends.

Is it the same group who you smoked with? The reason they are calling you a pothead is because they probably don't know you as close as their other potsmoking friends so they are projecting out the way they think you feel when you see them probably by the body language you give off. Try doing a different face when you see them walking up to you or past you. Squint the eyes and nod your head up before they get a chance to make the first gesture. Be the first one to say something and do it to everyone who is calling you a pothead. Projecting is commonly done by just about every single person in the world. Projecting is seen most when someone is calling someone else a good/bad name. For example a kid who just won a spelling bee would say to someone soon after, "You are a good speller!"

Ok, smoking weed DOES NOT kill brain cells. I am also a student (20 years old) and smoking weed does not lead to other drugs unless you let it. They are probably embarassed that they smoke weed and want to fit in with the crowd. They sound like two faced fakes- something that is typical of people in high school. Just ignore that shit.

Ok,well first off,smoking weed does tend to make you use your brain less or kill some brain cells.I should know because I'm 15 years old and I used to smoke since I was about 10 and I just quite a few months ago.(and you CAN get addicted.) i used to have mostly stoner friends and it all seems fine until things get really bad. And I'm not trying to preach to you or nothing,but eventually,smoking weed leads to other drugs. Oh yeah, things may feel so great to you but it will fuck up your life!I have some friends that have done some really fucked up stuff because drugs took over them.you may think "oh that won't happen to me cause I can control it!" but believe me it's no good.
So you choose. If you're going to smoke pot,don't get mad if people call you a pothead.
And I'm very sorry I'm getting very mad about this if you haven't noticed,but what you're saying is just rediculous to me.
