Can you get pregnant from skinny dipping?

Question Posted Thursday September 16 2010, 11:06 am

I went skinning dipping at the lake area last weekend with this guy I know. We fooled around in the water and he did cum. My period was due yesterday but it hasn't started. Can you get pregnant by skinny dipping like this?

Well, if all he did was cum in the water, it's extremely unlikely but slightly possible that a little teeny sperm made it into your vagina. Unfortunately, this sperm would have become infected with lake water. You would thus give birth to this;

Mustachio is the only intelligent answer.

Possible, one in ten million chance that it actually happened.

Sperm does not die instantly under any circumstances. Water, air, all that crap is myth. Even spermicide is not 100% effective at destroying every one of the millions of sperm present during a single orgasm.

However, sperm also cannot see or navigate. The reason there are millions is so that one of the millions happens to swim in the right directions. Sperm released into the water doesn't know and can't find your vagina. It would have to drift in there by happenstance, survive all the way up, and you'd have to be fertile. Long, long odds.

It's not the skinny dipping, it's the sex. It only takes one sperm to survive to make you pregnant, so, yes, you at risk.

There is a very, very low chance that you could be pregnant. However, that itty itty bitty chance of it happening is still there. Maybe you're period is just abnormal. Abnormal periods are especially common if you're a young teen or if your diet and mood has been arratic lately. My advice is to wait a couple days and see if you're just late. If you still don't get your period by next week, then see your school nurse (if you're in school) or go to a local clinic for a free acurate pregnancy test. If you were in water and he didn't come in phyical contact with your vagina, then I highly doubt you're pregnant.

Good luck! And next time, use protection so you don't have to worry!
