Remember that we're just random people volunteering to do this. There may be an expert or ten on any given subject, but some things we just don't know. We can't give advice on a subject we aren't familiar with. I know that often I'll see a question that I just plain don't know how to answer.
Other than that, questions that get answers tend to be brief and to the point, because nobody likes to strain their eyes over a large block of unbroken text. They're also very specific, rather than asking for general advice, because people don't like throwing heaps of advice at you in the hopes that some of it is what you want/need. I know that sometimes when I am looking to give advice I skip the ones that are way too long, just because I can't keep focused. I hope it helped.
