TeddysBear18 answered Wednesday August 25 2010, 9:46 pm: Well what colleges are you looking at? There are some out of state colleges where out of state tuition is not that bad i mean...its atleast double the instate but compare it to how much money you planned to spend anyway. or relook your options on the coleges instate, i dont know where you live but try collegeboard.com , whatever you do if you decide to work your butt off like another answer-er said then you have to be very very very focused because college is all on you, you have to believe it for every hour youre in class you need to plan to spend atleast an hour and a half on homework from that class. And nobody is going to remind you about anything until they have to take action and you dont want it to get to that point. Good luck with everything! - You can work your buns off to get fantastic grades and try to get scholarships. Apply to every scholarship you possibly can. It will involve writing about a million essays, but it can be very profitable.
- Student loans. Now, I'm not a big fan of them. They're a really big commitment, especially in the States, because tuition is so high. You have to make sure that you'll be able to pay them afterwards. That might mean getting a second job after school if you can't get that dream job right away.
- Work your way. Waitressing can be a great way to earn some extra money during the school year (my friend used to bring in $150 a night in tips alone!), but it's also really hard to maintain a full class schedule and work. [ NinjaNeer's advice column | Ask NinjaNeer A Question ]
