Your body does all kinds of strange crazy stuff when you aren't getting enough nutrition. I did calorie restriction when I was in high school, oddly enough my magic number was usually 700 calories as well. I lost weight at first and I also stopped having my period for about 9 months. What I didn't count on was that my metabolism was going to screech to a halt because I wasn't eating enough. Once I finally made myself eat my period has never been regular, sometimes I will bleed for up to 2 months. You may want to research a better diet plan-one that will give you enough of the things that your body needs-vitamins, protein, fiber, etc. and see if your symptoms clear up. Also, if numbers are your thing, check this out to see how many calories you should be eating to attain your desired weight [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

Maybe its something simple but he can help rule out anything malicious or dangerous and calm you down hopefully [ cocomac101's advice column | Ask cocomac101 A Question ]
maxgrey answered Friday August 13 2010, 1:55 pm: What's wrong with you? You've been starving yourself for a month. That's what's wrong with you.
My advice? Stop starving yourself. Please.
You're going to wreck your metabolism, which in the end will not make you slimmer, or lighter.
A body will go into starvation mode and begin to store anything that it takes in as fat. This makes you bloated and makes you gain weight.
Regardless of how much you're eating, your body will still produce waste. That's why it's so important to stay hydrated when you have abnormal bowel movements.
And, no, everything is not okay with you. And what's happening with your body is not normal. Or healthy.
You need to eat well. Period.
Instead of having a tic-tac for lunch, have some salmon. It's not like you have to decide between a stick of gum and a triple cheeseburger. There is a balance.
If you're eating more calories than your body can metabolize, don't starve yourself. Get up and take a walk. Go swimming with friends. Play a sport you enjoy. Get active.
You won't burn extra calories sitting around starving yourself.
You need to see your doctor right now to make sure you didn't do any irreversible damage.
Starving yourself is NOT the way to get healthy.
You're obviously dealing with the repercussions of that right now.

holahayley56 answered Friday August 13 2010, 8:11 am: I think your screwing your body up big time. My friend was severely anorexic, which you are on the path of too, she only at 250 calories a day and exercised like no other. She was in intensive care unit and had a crash kit by her for
three days.. They were afrid she was going to die. Not only is her body so screwed up, to the point where she is now
unable to have children, she had to miss 4 months of her junior year of high school, and she is on a million medications. Oh and she used to have really pretty long blonde hair, they had to cut it all off. It's at her chin now it use to be at her waist. Her hair was falling out.
This is the path you are on & your friends are already closer. When you eat it fuels you body like gas with a car. If the car
does t get gas the car won't go. Just like your body. When you aren't taking in enough calories and your body isn't getting enough fools it starts thinking " ok we need to start shutting down parts that we don't haveto fuel" & so yes your body is malfunctioning. I don't know why your body is having you get more periods, it's usually less. I don't really know what's happening, I'm not a doctor. I know a lot Bout nutrition because that's what I want to be, so I read a lot about it. If you want to pm me and tell me more about you like your height weight and what kind of foods you eat I could help you with that.
