I think I have anxiety issues. I will list some things to help you decide. I think alot about my future, what I'm going to do, what I'm going to become and sometimes I think to much about it and I realize I have no clue what I want to do and I'd cry because I think I am going to get nowhere in life, sometimes I get mad at myself for being three pounds over my normal weight. But I don't really know what anxiety attacks are which is the reason I am asking this question, to see if someone can explain to the fullest amount what they are. What the anxiety attacks are, uh, so famous people you know of that has them and how it's affecting their life (I only say famous because I would know them, as well. "Oh, my best bud Jimmy.." I wouldn't know him) I believe Alex Gaskarth has attacks. Uh, yea. Please fill me in, that'd be great! Thanks!

Some people are worriers in life, I know I am but that dosen't mean theres something wrong with you, you just need to get a bit more confidence. look on the plus side of things, try to help others than you know your going somewhere in life. To help yourself sometimes it means you need to help other people to fell you have purpose. Confidence is the key, you'll feel like so what if I have those 3 extra pounds as long as I wear them and be happy who cares because no one else does and if they don't why should you. Be happy about yourself and think you can be happy if you want to be.
However, you asked about anxiety attacks, its where every bad thing in your mind comes at you and once and you can't breathe and feel so bad about yourself and scared that you fell like your at breaking point. If not helped straight away can eat away at you till you hurt yourself, others and can even end in suicide. Don't worry, we all hit a midlife crisis at somepoint just keep telling yourself you can get through this and with help from others, you will. Tell a famly member or a trusted friend, so they cna suppourt you. it will help you get throught it faster and better with someone by your side. Anxiety attacks are your body's reaction to a perceived threat.
They're brought on by external stimuli.
An anxiety attack is to anxiety as orgasm is to sex. During a panic attack, you feel an overwhelmingly intense surge of panic. You feel like you're losing control of yourself, like you're going to die or faint. The rapid heart palpitations, chest pain and difficulty breathing experienced during anxiety attacks makes some people think they're having a heart attack. Sudden hot or cold sensations are common. You feel like nothing can be real, or like you're watching a movie. You shake uncontrollably and feel sick to your stomach. Many people vomit.
There are lots of different types of anxiety disorders. You can decide better than I can which one fits you best.
Talking with a therapist can help you determine which anxiety disorder you have. I suffered with a debilitating anxiety disorder for the past three years of my life, but I started seeing a therapist and I haven't gotten an anxiety attack since.
Johnny Depp has an anxiety disorder. So do Oprah and Joan Rivers. You're definitely not alone.
I know how it feels to be anxious all the time or have a panic attack. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. It's great that you can admit you think you have some issues. That takes more courage than I had a couple of years ago.

It can be treated with medication, therapy, or just a change of lifestyle. You may find you don't have to go as far as to get medicated for it, but going to a therapist might help. It's personal, obviously.
There are also different types of anxiety disorders (OCD or PTSD for example.) Attacks would differ with these different types of anxieties- what you described sounded pretty general.
I have had problems with anxiety disorders in the past. I don't know about 'famous people' having anxiety. But I do know that with proper treatment, anxiety is something that can be alleviated so it doesn't affect your life in a major way. [ smittenx's advice column | Ask smittenx A Question ]
