college survival guide
my friends and i are doing a "secret santa" gift exchange, but we're buying each other stuff for college. my friend that i'm buying for is going to the same college as me, but i'm living there and she's commuting. we always joke about how she's going to live in my dorm room and things like that. the price range is $10-15. any ideas on what i can get her? i'm including a picture frame and a camera case she wanted.

Any chance you could get a photo taken of the two of you? Like just have another friend pretend to be out shooting pix then runs into you 2 and you guys take a bunch of pix together; silly, serious, funky, you know what I'm talkin about. Then the friend/photog will move on and later you get the photos emailed to you by your mystery friend and either make a 'girlfriend' collage on Picasa, or a really good pic of the 2 of you that would fit in the frame you got. I think it's the thoughtfulness that's the real gift; pay your photog $10 for going along with the scheme, then buy her $5 worth of CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!!!!!!! yum! She'll love it!
