There is the Asian chi(or qi) which is developed from your chakras(also another Asian belief). Chakra development usually takes years, and very few who train their entire lives can master it.
This is just one of the many beliefs, and it is one of the most popular. If you look up how to develop your chakra on google you could find some good sources, but often the best sources are REAL kung fu martial artists.
