how to shut a website down

there is a website called topix which i visted back in 2008 and 2009 and now i want to shut it down but what can i download to get it shut down

Hi there,

Topix is a pretty unpleasant place but shutting it down isn't going to happen. Free speech is a big thing in this country, so they will stay open.

Besides that, if you were to try and shut it down, you would be thrown in jail for very long time... and the site would still be up. Not worth it if you ask me.
