birth control My boyfriend and I just started having sex, and we always use a condom. But I really want to start on birth control, except my mother doesn't approve. She doesn't even know we're sexually active. I'm 17 years old, and I'd like to know if there is a way I can get birth control without her permission or her finding out?
Thanks!

You can go on birth control by going to Planned Parenthood. However going on the pill will only protect you from getting pregnant and it will take a while to build up in your system to be truly effective.
Your very young and I wish you and boyfriend the best, but always safety first and that means him still wearing a condom. Better to be protected because not being is life changing in this case. ]
yes family parenting centers..
but as i always tell young girls.. becareful about birth control.. remember that stuff is a chemical and it messes with your hormones. ]
im pretty sure that when yuh turn eigteen, yuh can get them at a clinic without a parentt.(: ]
I know this may not be a "brilliant answer" but I saw this same situation on Desperate Housewives. I'm not sure if it will apply in your situation, but maybe you could ask your aunt, older cousin, or some older female that wouldnt mind posing as your mom. Again, not sure if that would help at all. Good luck! ]
you can go to the nearest planned parenthood
or you can ask your gynecologist, they're allowed to give you the pills without your parents permission ]
