Getting Videos off Youtube.

Question Posted Sunday July 11 2010, 12:20 am

This girl that goes to my school put videos up of me on YouTube under my full name, and it honestly freaks me out a lot. I want them down, but she won't take them down. They're not scandalous or anything; I just don't want videos of me online under my full name.

Please tell me there's someone I can contact to get them off?

There really isn't that much danger in them having your name but if you want them taken down contact-[Link](Mouse over link to see full location) that's the youtube safety center. theyre might be something there that can help you.

under the video, there should be a little red flag button. if you click on that, you can report the videos. it should ask for a paragraph explaining why you're reporting them.

Hello :)

[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

click that link, and go to the paragraph that says "reporting a privacy violation", then click the link in that paragraph. Basically, if you're filing this complaint, it's because the video makes you clearly identifiable, and the uploader did not have your consent to upload the video. Youtube will give them one more chance to do something about it, and if they don't, they'll take down the video. Good luck! And let me know how it goes.
