Perfume

Question Posted Thursday July 1 2010, 5:36 pm

17/F

I recently purchased Marc Jacobs perfume, and I was wondering where and how much I should apply?

It comes in a spray bottle. I want the scent to be noticeable enough so that people near me can smell it, but not too overpowering.

Thanks! :)

Unscrew the bottle, put the slightest drop of the fragrance on one wrist and rub your wrists together. Then, rub your wrists behind your ears. If the scent is light, you may want to rub some inside your elbows as well.
The heat and blood vessels near the skin in these areas will slowly release just the right amount of fragrance. Don't spray on the fragrance.

Generally speaking, one to three sprays should do it. You want to apply it where it won't rub or sweat off too soon.
Applying perfume, I would say one spray overall, like a once over, and then one to your neck.
The fragrance won't wear off like it would if you sprayed your clothing or wrists.
In addition, applying it to your neck will make it sort of unnoticable and unintrusive unless someone steps closer or you pass by them.
But really, you have to find what works best for you. I hope this helps!
