he seems not interested but shows he is

Question Posted Wednesday May 26 2010, 11:20 pm

Hi, I'm 15/female. He is 16/male. There's this boy that I texted today because my friends wanted to know something about him but they didn't have the balls to ask him so they made me. I texted him and asked him the question clearing stating that it was my friends that made me text him and he texted me "ha ok... it was ___" and I apologized if that was awkward or anything and he said nah, it was cool. So then we got talking for about ten or so minutes, I was making sure to answer late so it didn't seem like I was to eager and it seemed like he was doing the same thing but he was only texting about 4 words every time. So, then my friends just said "take a stab. do it. do it. tell him." and I said no he seems like he's bored talking to me and they screamed "no balls!" so I had to do it then, I texted him and said that my friends were right and he is attractive. He replied. "Ha, thanks." That just made me think that he was bored with talking to me but just didn't want to say it. So, I told him it was time for dinner and I must part. Now that I think about it and my friends have been telling me about it, every time I see him in the hall, he looks at me for a few seconds and I look at him and then he looks away and either touches his hair or just looks down at the ground. I know this is just a little bit of information but that's literally all I have for you. Do you think he's kinda getting into me? And if so, what do I do? I feel like I bore him over texting and we've never talked face to face but him knowing that I think he's attractive he should try to talk to me and if he doesn't, that's bad, right? Thanks for any help you give me! Means a lot! ♥

awww..i miss high school..lol. i think most guys are like that. i was just IMing this guy the other day..i've had a crush on him for a few years now but never thought anything of it until i saw him online and i told him about this dream i had, of him and me kissing. and he told me he had a similar dream the week before. we've talked on and off for this past year. but he hasn't talked to me since then, i think he's trying to avoid me because i saw him on myspace today but his IM was off. if he's touching his hair then i think he' might be trying to fix it to look good. girls do it a lot too. but i don't know about him looking down..that, to me seems like he's avoiding eye contact. i personally would worry about it cuz i am right now, but i advise you not to. when he wants to talk to you, he will. i think you should put this aside..easier said than done, i know. good luck
